Paddy is a former Chartered Accountant with extensive commercial experience in the UK and Europe. He was the Finance Director for VF UK and Scandinavia and is Vice Chair of the Nottingham Credit Union. Paddy was instrumental in setting up the Charitable company in 2017 and currently is Interim Chair and takes the lead on Finance.
Gary had a distinguished Army career in the Royal Engineers and later joined Royal Mail in senior management positions. He is qualified in Mechanical Engineering, Health & Safety and Environmental Management. Gary lives on a narrowboat, is a regular volunteer Skipper, and takes the lead on Operations, Health and Safety and Risk Assessment.
Carol is a full-time youth worker and team leader with Notts County Council. She has a BA Hons degree in working with young people and communities and has extensive experience working with statutory youth provision. Carol has a specific interest in Special Educational Needs (SEND) and Diversity in communities and takes the lead on Safeguarding.
After a 38-year career as a multi-disciplined aircraft engineer in the RAF, Phil spent 10 years as the regional fundraiser for KIDS, a national children's disability charity. A qualified electronics engineer with experience in training, engineering management,
operations management and the management of health, safety and risk, he also has an in-depth knowledge of fundraising and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Fundraising. A regular volunteer on the narrowboats, Phil takes the lead on fundraising.
