Providing a Practical Hands-On Canal and River Experience
We're a predominantly volunteer led charity, operating from the heart of Nottingham city centre.
Now one of the longest standing community boating project's of it's kind in the UK.
We provide a unique waterways experience along the
Nottingham & Beeston Canal and River Trent.
Our trips include boat steering, working the canal's locks and instruction in water safety.
We have two traditional 70ft accessible Narrow boats named Megan and Tinkers Leen
We offer full or half day & residential trips all year round
plus evening trips during the summer months.
Our boats can accommodate groups of up 12 people per boat, 24 max per booking.
Each boat is staffed by our highly experienced and qualified
skippers and crew and your journey will take
in a mix of scenery, both urban & countryside.
We cater for people of all ages and abilities these include primary and
secondary Schools, Academies, Scouts, Guides and Brownies, Youth Clubs,
groups with learning and physical disabilities, Community Interest/Support groups,
CIC's and charities, most of whom will benefit from our reduced fee.
We're also available for private hire from business and families
